Had a great trip to Germany...will have some photos up soon.  Tomorrow night in Lumberton, NC.  It's chilly here in NC, but not as cold as it has been
the past few days in Ohio---How do you folks in Ohio survive the winters? ha

Just finished the week of concerts here in Germany...it's been a great week, but I am tired!!  Today Roberta and I toured the Wounded Warriors Hospital at Landstuhl, then I did a short concert for the USO...my sponsor here Chaplain Major Robert Sinnett  drove us to the Airforce base  nearby and we ate at a Macoroni Grill.... this day has been emotionally exhausting for both of us.
We'll be staying a few extra days to take in the sights of Frankfurt and surrounding area...we may even go to Austria...Hope all of you are having a great week-end!!

My wife and I arrived in Frankfurt, Germany yesterday at 5 a.m.  we were met by Maj. Robert Sinnett and driven to Grafenwoehr . We had a wonderful dinner with several chaplains and their wives last night, and I did my first concert tonight near Grafenwoehr.  Had a great time altho a lot of thoughts here are on the Ft. Hood killings along with dealing with soldiers suffering from depression, etc.  Remember these soldiers in your prayers....they have a lot on their shoulders.
Will try to post more as the week progresses.  Tomorrow we head 1 and 1/2 hrs from here to Ansbach for tomorrow night.
We love Germany, but God Bless America!!

Sept 19

I'm sitting in my motel room over-looking beautiful NC mountains that disappear into the fog ....after a few days at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, a corporate event in Lexington on Wed. nite and a concert at the convention Thurs. afternoon, it's nice to be here in the mountains letting my body soak up a little rest.
Had a concert last night with the Isaacs...they are great! and tonight my friends Jeff and Sheri Easter.  I drove into Black Mountain today...the town...I didn't drive INTO a mountain...thank the Lord!!  ha  I ate at a little German restaurant there...thought I'd get a taste of the food, since I'll be heading over to Germany in Nov. for a USO tour.  The food was wonderful..I have a feeling it's not going be any easier losing weight in Germany than here in the US...
I'll be driving back to Nashville tonight, then to Ga. on Monday, Lumberton, NC on Tuesday and a corp. event in Memphis on Wed.
Hope your week is good, wherever you are...I saw a sign today that said  Life Is Good.  I agree...if you can walk, talk, hear, and love those that love you...whisper a word of thanks today....Aaron

Heading out tomorrow morning for Okla. City, then I'll drive to Seminole for two days of the Seminole Gospel Sing.  I'm hoping for nice weather...something cooler than 100 degrees and no Noah kind of rain!!!
It's always a good time, but the weather is less than co-operative at
times!!
Hope to see you guys somewhere along the way!!
Have a Happy and Blessed day!

Just wanted to say hello to all of you who drop in from time to time, and let you know I really appreciate it! I just did some video footage in Cherokee, Al. this week at the Coon Dog Cemetary (Yes, it's real). Had a great time with the musicians/singers there, and the liars contest was a hoot---and that's no lie!!!
I'll be heading out on Monday, Sept.8, for the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Ky. where I'll do a short set on Monday night, another on Wed. night and a concert on Friday afternoon. If you happen to be there, my booth # is 936---come on by and visit!
A happy week to all---and remember....
Laugh more---live longer......

It's been a incredibly busy time the past couple of weeks....I am WAY behind on getting personal answers to some of the emails I'm getting---so if you're one of those waiting to get a response--I'm not ignoring you!! Just give me another day or two.
I'll be in Okla. this week for three days at the
huge Seminole Sing...should be plenty of sunshine!!
On Sunday morning and night I'll be with my friend Don Demeter in Okla. City---he played baseball with the Dodgers years ago--my dad would love this!! Don now pastors a great church and I look forward to being there and doing some music and a lot of laughing with him and his congregation.
Stay cool if you can!!!
There doorbell rang today--I opened the door and it was the devil---said it was so hot he'd like to come in and cool off!! ha

THANKS!!! to everyone

A month ago I didn't even know what youtube is and now I find that my video clip of "If My Nose Was Runnig Money" is right at
a million and a half views....that's incredible for a guy from BoBo,
Al.!!!
Thanks to all of you who have enjoyed it and passed it on---for some of my older friends and fans you're probably wondering what
all the hoop-la is about--you were tired of that song a year ago and now it's news to over a million people...just hang in here with me and I'll hopefully have new stuff that'll keep you smiling too....
I just received my first copies this week of my new cd "Is That What You're Wearing???" It will be officially released Oct. 9 by
Right Minded Records and will be distributed by Warner Brothers...so hopefully all of you who have had trouble finding my cds/dvds in the past will find them staring at you from a lot of different venues.
Gotta go to bed...my day starts tomorrow at 4 a.m. to the airport headed for Indy. for a concert tomorrow night in Connersville, IN. then up early the next day for Detroit--then a drive across the Canadian border for a concert in Sarnia on Sat. night.......If you're not having a good time living for the lord--you're not doing it right!!!

Well, here we go into fall again but it's still in the high 70's this week here in Nashville which was nice considering
that we just got back from another great cruise to the Bahamas with Templeton Tours. We were able to spend 5 days
aboard the Carnival Celebration with many of our friends such as, Gold City, The Inspirations, Hoppers, Florida Boys,
and many others. If you've never gone on one of these tours, make your plans now to join us again in February and
get away from those winter blues. You can contact our office to find about more about it at 615-826-2733. Please check
out the calendar page to see if I'll be in your area soon and come out and say hello. Until next time, Bless Your Heart!
